We are social justice architects — designing the tools students need to recognize, resist, and rewrite narratives of dehumanization. With over 10 years of on-the-ground workshops, assemblies, and classroom experience Dahn and Alimi have built something no textbook could: a curriculum that meets students inside the stories they already love.

Bullying doesn't start with a fist. It starts with a story. When students absorb dehumanizing narratives, self-worth erodes, bias takes root, and the path to cruelty becomes shorter than anyone realizes. This is the alien invasion we face — not creatures from space, but the slow colonization of young minds by dehumanization itself.

How to Survive an Alien Invasion is the inoculation. The curriculum decodes the "source code" of 4 popular films to reveal how dehumanization and bias are embedded in the stories that shape our reality — and how students can rewrite them. Over four weeks, students don't just analyze stories. They learn to see the code running beneath them, and to write new ones.
